Mission, Vision, & Values
A nurturing environment for learners that encourages high expectations for success.
Arizona State Board for Charter Schools Mission Statement
This mission of Discover U is to provide a nurturing environment for learners that encourages high expectations for success through the use of technology, the arts and cooperative learning instruction. Every student will be provided with ample opportunities to become involved in their community through leadership roles, all while enhancing compassion, support and cultural diversity.
Nurture
Every child’s interests and individual strengths are nurtured. Students develop socially and emotionally through community building, teamwork, and life skills — in a safe, small school where they are known and loved.
Inspire
Students are inspired to ask questions, explore, and create through hands-on, project-based learning.
Empower
As they grow, students are empowered to build independence and become the leaders and innovators of tomorrow.
