Curriculum Night: Curriculum Night will be on Tuesday, August 27th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Teachers will introduce the class curriculum which supports student achievement. They will also talk about Parent Teacher Academic Teams which will be occurring throughout the school year.
School Hours: Our school hours are 8:30am to 3:15pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30am to 12:30pm on Friday for our 1st - 6th grade and 8:30am to 2:45pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30am to 12:00pm on Friday for Pre-K and Kindergarten.
First Day of School: Students are scheduled to return on Monday, August 5th. Parents are welcome to walk their children to their classrooms for the first day of school. Following that, we ask that parents drop students off at the south gate and wish them well for the day.
Drop Off & Pick Up: All parents need to enter the school site by using the north entrance gate (right before the stop sign on 113th Ave) and proceed to drive around the back of the campus. Please proceed around the playground area and continue to the identified drop-off area on the south side of the administrative building. Students will be allowed on campus at 8:05am when the gates are opened. Please do not drop your child off prior to that. School personnel will be stationed at the drop-off area to greet your child. Parents will need to proceed to exit the school parking lot using the south exit gate.
To minimize traffic and reduce wait times, we will be releasing Pre-K and Kindergarten students 30 minutes early. Pre-K and Kindergarten students release at 2:45pm Monday - Thursday and 12:00pm on Friday. The 1st-6th grade students release at 3:15pm Monday-Thursday and 12:30pm on Friday. Parents may either park in the parking lot and walk to the designated zone to meet their children or wait in their vehicle in the pick-up line.
If you are a parent of a 1st-6th grade, please do not enter the student pick-up area until 3:00pm to allow our Kindergarten parents to pick up their child on time. Please do not leave your vehicle unattended in the drop off/pick up zone. This is also not a good time to speak to your child’s teacher. If you have a concern, please park and go to the front office where the teacher can meet with you once dismissal is completed. All students should be picked up within 15 minutes of school dismissal. If you are running late, please contact the front office to advise. Students not picked up within 15 minutes of release time will be sent up to the front office where they will need to be signed out.
If you are signing your child in or out you must park and come inside the front office. Please do not park in front of the office doors because this area has been designated a fire lane.
Students will not be released from class during the last 30 minutes of school. If you have an appointment and need to sign your child out early, please plan to sign them out 30 minutes prior to school ending. Exceptions will be made for emergency situations.
