Discover U is a small, beautiful school with a hands-on approach to learning.  We believe in teaching the whole child. We are located off of 113th Avenue and Grand.  

We offer FREE FULL DAY KINDERGARTEN with exceptional teachers who nurture, inspire and empower our students and families. Class sizes are small so that we can provide personalized small group instruction to every child. All kindergartners receive 3 recess times a day to prioritize play and social skills.

Families matter at Discover U! We welcome parents to volunteer in the classroom as often as possible. To encourage family time after school we have a NO HOMEWORK POLICY. Children and parents enjoy a range of fun activities that include our Winter Program, Reading Under the Stars, End of Year Classroom Celebrations, Discover U Day at Diamondbacks and much more.

Parents have two young learner options for children who will turn 5 after September 1 and wish to attend Discover U.

• Option 1: You may choose to have your child participate in our PreK option for 3 to 5 year olds.
• Option 2:  You may also choose to wait another year to enroll your child at Discover U.
