Volunteer at Discover U
Time in your child’s classroom, preparing materials at school or home, PTO meetings, and school events — families matter here.
We encourage families to volunteer at Discover U. Please talk to your child’s teacher, our P.T.O. President, or the front office to learn more. We ask that volunteers make alternative arrangements for non-school-age children when volunteering, to minimize classroom distractions.
- A Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- A completed Volunteer Registration Form — available from the front office.
- A pre-arranged schedule with your teacher or administration.
School Visits
To maintain safety and order at Discover U, parents and visitors must first check in at the front office to receive a visitor badge. Individuals who would like to visit or observe a classroom must set up a 15-minute block of time with the front office and will be escorted to and from the classroom by a school staff member.
